Land Rover Defender SVX special edition
2009 Land Rover Defender SVX special edition
Land Rover is celebrating its 60th Anniversary with the special edition Land Rover Defender SVX model.
Available as a seven-seat 110 station wagon exclusively in a metallic black finish, each Land Rover Defender SVX features an individually numbered plaque, a restyled grille surround, tubular side-steps, unique alloy wheels, reinforced aluminium front undershield, clear-lens headlamps and LED reverse/rear fog lights.
Land Rover Australia has taken delivery of the most unique version of its iconic Defender, the 60th Anniversary SVX Limited Edition. With the SVX, Land Rover has introduced the rugged Defender to the new millennium by fitting satellite navigation, Recaro seats, a leather steering wheel and iPod compatibility, features not previously seen in the rough and tumble Defender.
Conceived to celebrate Land Rover's 60th Anniversary, each SVX comes with an individually numbered SVX plaque.
The distinguished Land Rover Defender is turning 60 this year. Interior highlights include special Recaro seats, more silver accents, and a modern infotainment system.
The SVX will be the most luxurious Defender yet. The image of the Land Rover Defender is hard to top. It is the most affordable Land Rover in Europe.
More Special Editions for Europe
Besides the cool Land Rover SVX, Europeans will get special limited editions of all models but the classic Range Rover. The Freelander/LR2 will get leather seats and a “sports style package”; the Discovery/LR3 adds “grand black lacquer” accents and tinted windows. The Range Rover Sport gains a premium audio system and premium leather seats.
