Last year 2011 Land Rover introduced in England a special version of their legendary Defender called XTech. It was so successful that the British brand has decided to take a limited number of that model and put it on sale.
Although it is basically the same as 2011, the 2012 model has a unique Orkney or Nara Bronze Grey exterior, black roof and exclusive wheels 16 inch alloy MTR off-road tires, wheel arches and some other detail such as bumpers. Inside, black leather is complemented by a dark skin color and the front headrests, marked Land Rover logo embossed.
Standard equipment includes air conditioning, ABS, traction control, central locking with remote control and heated seats. The Special Edition Defender X-Tech is available in 90 Hard Top and 110 in additions to an extensive range of accessories available.
XTech Special Edition uses a 2.2-liter diesel engine with six-speed manual transmission.
The Defender X-Tech Special Edition receives a sharp increase in prices in the islands, from 27,995 pounds and will go on sale from July.
