2010 Toyota Sequoia

2010 Toyota Sequoia
The 2010 Toyota Sequoia is a full-size sport-utility vehicle, based on the mammoth Toyota Tundra pickup. An optional 381-horsepower, 5.7-liter V-8, with its more efficient six-speed automatic, gets 14/19 mpg with two-wheel drive and 13/18 mpg with four-wheel drive.
The Toyota Sequoia is available in SR5, Limited and Platinum grades. The Platinum ($56,180) edition brings laser cruise control and a rear DVD system controlled through a separate audio system.
The Platinum can add a DVD navigation system with a backup camera and a JBL Synthesis 4-disc CD player, plus second-row captain’s chairs.

Interior Features
The Toyota Sequoia is the former. Where the Sequoia truly shines is in the ride for second-row passengers. Aside from the rear DVD player, those traveling in the back can expect first-row treatment with heated captain’s chairs and access to climate controls.

Safety, Quality and Reliability
The Tire Pressure Monitoring System is a very helpful feature in higher altitudes as it automatically adjusts air pressure for proper tire inflation.

Toyota's largest SUV, theToyota Sequoia, can tow more weight than any other SUV -- a maximum of 10,000 pounds. More importantly, the fuel economy is up by two mpg to 14 mpg city and 19 mpg highway for the two-wheel-drive Toyota Sequoia, according to the Environmental Protection Agency. Both Sequoia engines are matched with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Four-wheel-drive models with either engine achieve EPA estimates of only 13 mpg city and 18 mpg highway. The Toyota Sequoia SUV's 5.7-liter can be ordered as a flex-fuel engine, capable of running on E85 ethanol. The cabin layout gets mixed reviews. Spacious interior, heavy handling
Reviews say the interior is spacious and comfortable, making the Toyota Sequoia an ideal vehicle for taking a road trip. But avoid curvy roads, warns ConsumerGuide.com: "In any Toyota Sequoia, fast turns result in marked body lean.
